The desire to preserve something as an image, also means the curse of holding it still. To live, is to decay; so what happens to something that is hold still in time? It is there where I find a relationship between photography and sculpture, where time stops flowing and becomes solid.

Abeyance gathers a group of sculptures which recreate the spatiotemporal fragment of a series of photographic images in ambiguous objects which oscillate between production and reproduction, mechanical and manual, the bi and three dimensional.
